Moonstruck 3 ORIGINAL - AVAILABLE Cards available 6 x 6 inches I painted this little hare a second time, but changed the colours and lighting a bit. I thought it made a very dramatic picture of a moon crazed hare on a wild and windy night. This one comes in a silver and black frame.	Flooded Valley ORIGINAL - AVAILABLE Approx 14 x 9.5 inches Cards and prints available I poured this canvas in sections to produce a landscape and was very happy with the result. It reminded me of the view across flooded fields towards the sea after the snow has melted. I added the distant hill to break the horizon, then the tree and hare to give it some perspective. The patterns look like vegetation to frame an almost silhouette hare. He comes in a black frame. I could see some darker rocks in the foreground, so all it needed was a pair of damp otters ready to splash about. I took my inspiration for ferns and ivy from Dolgoch Falls, but I've never seen any otters there! This comes in a white frame. Originally I intended to make this one and its partner into underwater scenes, but I was suddenly inspired to make them into a pair of moon crazed hares. They both come in a silver frame.

Frosty Fox ORIGINAL - SOLD 8 x 8 inches Cards and prints available A nice cold looking frosty background with a little snow mound in front for the fox to sit on. There are some really interesting effects in the 'sky' in this one. All that appears yellow in the picture is actually metallic gold in the real painting. He comes in a grey blue frame.	Young Hare ORIGINAL - SOLD 30 x 60 cm Cards and prints available I had a tall thin linen canvas which inspired me to paint this tall, thin picture of a hare. I loved the subtle, natural colour of the linen, so painted a background which was very similar in colour and more subdued than my usual pours. I love the drama of this big (for me) painting and will definitely be doing more!

Evening Hare ORIGINAL - SOLD 10 x 14 inches Cards and prints available Another of my favourite hares, sitting in the moonlight with his crop of blue 'flowers' and dandelions. I enjoyed painting the tree silhouettes on this one. It comes with a silver frame. The dark, forest-like shapes have been extended to provide bare branches against a full moon, and the owl flies overhead. This painting comes with a gold frame.
SummerValleyHare ORIGINAL - SOLD 18.5x10.5 inches Cards and prints available I spotted a landscape in this pour, and enhanced the horizon by changing all the original colours in the sky. Next I added the hare to add perspective. I love the way he appears to have just popped up, chewing on a blade of grass.	Winter Stag ORIGINAL - SOLD 6 x 6 inches Cards and prints available This pour had a beautiful winter look to it, almost like stained glass. It provides a beautiful background for this magnificent stag.
ThreeHares ORIGINAL - SOLD 8 inch diameter canvas Cards and prints available This is my take on the ancient Three Hares symbol which apparently dates back to the Egyptians but appears in churches all over Europe. I added the celtic knotwork because they seemed to go together so well. The original is a framed circular canvas, but cards and prints are 'squared off' with the celtic corners shown here.	Moonlit Hare ORIGINAL - SOLD 12 x 12 inches Cards and prints available I tried to achieve a magical feeling with this moonlit hare, sitting amongst the patch of dandelion seed heads. I chose unusual blue shades for the poured landscape to add to the feeling of night. He comes in a silver frame.
Fox and Mouse (Hide and Seek) ORIGINAL - SOLD 10 x 10 inches Cards and prints available I thought the golds and greens of this pour looked like a hedgerow. This made a wonderful setting for the little mouse hiding in his burrow, just out of sight of the hungry fox. I also added a big moon to light up the scene. Mica Dragonfly ORIGINAL - SOLD 6 x 6 inches Cards available In this painting, I used Primary Elements from the USA as a background. These are pigments mixed with mica, which result in an amazing iridescent effect. The wings are also painted with iridescent paint to give a realistic shine.	Celtic Hare ORIGINAL - SOLD Oops, a bit too much reflection on this photo! This is one of my first forays into Celtic knotwork, thanks to Courtney Davis's source book. It worked well on this small pour, and I added gilding to the knots for extra interest. Very fiddly at this size!

He had a very magnificent look about him, so I crowned him with a celtic circle. This painting comes with a wooden frame. I loved the effect of this pour and decided NOT to torch it - so there aren't many cells. It provided a mysterious backdrop for the hare and his crop of red clover. I chose the Raven with his blues, purples and greens to blend in with his environment. This pour was ideal for my latest.
Morning Hare ORIGINAL - SOLD 10 x 10 inches Cards and prints available This was another pour which worked out so well as a background landscape. The gold in the sky looks like a shaft of morning sunshine.	Golden Hare ORIGINAL - SOLD 12 x 12 inches Cards and prints available This pour produced the most beautiful shiny gold and green background for my first hare.
Fox Went Out on a Chilly Night ORIGINAL - SOLD 12 x 12 inches Cards and prints available This was a lucky random pour which produced a tree, a snow covered hill, and a river in the foreground, all under a moonlit sky filled with ice crystals. It made me think of the Chilly Night in the old folk song, so I had to add the Fox! This painting comes with a copper frame.
